Welcome to the Cainhoe Wood Golf Club Men’s Section!  My name is Paul Cruise, and I am privileged and honoured to be the Club Captain for 2023/24.

Cainhoe Wood is an all-inclusive golf-club with 4 excellent sections – Men’s, Ladies, Seniors, and Juniors.  Each section has its own page on the Cainhoe Wood Golf Club website.

Every month from April to September, the Mens section hold a monthly medal competition. The medal competitions are played on alternate courses. In October there is an opportunity for all 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed players in each division to play for the Medal Winners Trophy.

There are also monthly trophy competitions in various formats throughout the summer. Full details of every competition and how to enter can be found on the Intelligent Golf app.   To register and download the app please go to https://cainhoewood.intelligentgolf.co.uk.

All members are more than welcome to enter the competitions, and this is a good way to meet other members and play with different people. Everyone will make you feel very welcome.

All events are built around the Club Championships which are played over 2 days in July and are the highlight of the year.

We also have teams which compete in the County Scratch and Mid-Handicap Leagues who welcome players who enjoy playing in that style of competition.
